About Us
Established in 2006, ABC Extinguishers, LLC is a locally owned and operated company that is owned by Mary (Cathy) Walcutt and Raymond James.
Cathy Walcutt lives in Greene County with her family. Cathy served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT with East Rivanna Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. at Keswick, VA for approximately 10 years before moving to Greene County with her husband Thad and their family.
Raymond James lives in Albemarle County with his wife Marietta. Raymond has been in the fire service since March 1969 when he became an original founding member of the East Rivanna Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. and served in each rank of the company. Raymond is now a retired life member of ERVFC.
Raymond retired as a career firefighter for the City of Charlottesville Virginia Fire Department where he spent 33.5 years and retired as Battalion Chief.
Raymond is also a certified fire instructor with the Virginia Department of Fire Programs.
Both owners bring a lot of experience to this profession.

Monthly inspection
Annual maintenance
6-year maintenace tear down procedures
Hydrostatic tester operation and maintenance procedures
Vacu-Fill operation and maintenance
Hydrostatic testing
DOT regulations
All of our techs are NFPA 10 Certified by Getz Manufacturing.
